The "Immortals" Movie: War of the Gods - Preparation for Antichrist. Eternal life comes from Jesus Christ, not “the gods.”On November 1. Greek mythology, sword- fighting epic, “Immortals” hit theaters. The movie tells the tale of an ancient Greek peasant named Theseus who leads an army to defend humanity from the attack of the Titans, gods of ancient Greece bent on wiping out humans. In Greek mythology the character Theseus, is most known from a story called ‘Theseus and the Minotaur’. While “Immortals” uses the character Theseus and his backstory, the plot of the film is completely different from the ancient myth.
From the three theatrical trailers and numerous clips that have been released, the movie has a number of concepts that seem to be a spin on Bible scripture, the Nephilim, end- time prophecy and the role and career of the Antichrist. The ancient battle between God and angels. The Immortals Trailer. As was the case with the movie “Legion” a film which also took its concepts from Bible prophecy and scripture and distorted it to make the fallen angels, the heroes and saviors of humanity, the Biblical concepts in ‘Immortals’ have also been altered to put fallen, evil angels in a positive light. From the opening seconds, we see the dilemma the world is facing as the screen reads: “When Heaven can’t defend us.” The idea that God is not going to be a player in the ultimate salvation of humanity or is an enemy of humanity, is promoted in many movies (such as ‘Legion’, which we covered in a prior article, for example).“A man chosen by the gods.” Who are the “gods” in the Bible? They are the fallen angels who in ancient times, were permitted dominion over the nations of the Earth and masqueraded as “gods.” The Bible references this era in Deuteronomy 3. Watch The Losers Megavideo. Remember the days of old, consider the years of many generations: ask your father, and he will show you; your elders, and they will tell you.
When the Most High divided to the nations their inheritance, when he separated the sons of Adam, he set the bounds of the people according to the number of the children of Israel. For the LORD’S portion is his people; Jacob is the lot of his inheritance.” (Deuteronomy 3. While the King James Version describes the division of the gentile nations as according to “the number of the children of Israel,” the Septuagint (the oldest form of the Old Testament still in existence today) has the verse differently: “When the Most High divided the nations, when he separated the sons of Adam, he set the bounds of the nations according to the number of the angels of God.” It was a group of angels who were given authority over the nations of the world and God, the true God, started his nation, Israel from one man, Abraham.
Samsung’s AI assistant Bixby is finally available in the US—months late. But, hey, at least it doesn’t explode. On 11/11/11, the Immortals movie will debut. What appears to be a Greek myth tale on the surface, looks to be more of a spin on the Bible's account of God, the fallen.
This is why the next verse distinguishes that Israel is “God’s portion.” The nation of Israel, was literally the portion of the Earth from which God would bring forth His way of salvation of humanity who had fallen into sin and under the deception Satan of the fallen angels. God was allowing humanity a choice. Thus occult practices and paganism spread across the world, while the nation of Israel brought the light of God’s law to unbelievers.
This interpretation is further confirmed when God warned the ancient Israelites against the worship of false idols: “And lest thou lift up thine eyes unto heaven, and when thou seest the sun, and the moon, and the stars, even all the host of heaven [angels], shouldest be driven to worship them, and serve them, which the LORD thy God hath divided unto all nations under the whole heaven.” (Deuteronomy 4: 1. And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan.”The Heavenly host were divided unto all nations as a part of God’s Divine plan for humanity and angels alike. And they abused this authority to present themselves falsely to humankind as gods. The Bible is clear. The God of the Bible, who created the universe, is the only true God.
The Bible uses the term “gods” many times to reference the fallen angels, created beings, who were and still deceive humanity into believing they are gods: 1. But the LORD is the true God, he is the living God, and an everlasting king: at his wrath the earth shall tremble, and the nations shall not be able to abide his indignation. Thus shall ye say unto them, The gods that have not made the heavens and the earth, even they shall perish from the earth, and from under these heavens. Jeremiah 1. 0)Howbeit then, when ye knew not God, ye did service unto them which by nature are no gods. Galatians 4: 8)So the Bible readily acknowledges “the gods” aside from the True God of the Bible. Why? Because the Biblical account is clear that the supposed “gods” of paganism were the fallen, rebellious angels. As the scriptures say, “5.
For all the gods of the nations are idols: but the LORD made the heavens. Psalm 9. 6). The word “idols” refers to the vain, emptiness of the false gods. The Septuagint refers to them as demons. Thus any “war of the gods” from a Biblical perspective was the war of good angels who serve God and want humanity to enter heaven and evil angels, who serve Satan and want to bring humanity into damnation. We see such a war in the book of Revelation: 7 And there was war in heaven: Michael [a holy archangel of God] and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, 8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
Revelation 1. 2)So there will be a war that will result in Satan and his angels being cast out of Heaven and sent to Earth. What is important to remember is that the war taking place is for the souls of humanity. Unfortunately humans have the least amount of information on this subject as we cannot view or perceive the spiritual world. This is why understanding God’s Word, the Biblical account of angelic and human interaction and the warnings about spirits are so important. The “Gods of the Pit”Theseus battles a hybrid Titan.
